Menozikul; Midweek Musicalisms

Next off the rank for birthday composers this month is one Gabriel Pierné, August 16th, 1863, France. A full harp piece here which lives up to the infusion of 'fantasie' in this caprice...

  2. Thanks for the introduction to this composer, YAM. Lovely music, sensitive and delicate. Makes me long to be at the pond’s edge gazing over water lilies. And there’s a chance that later this morning I may be doing exactly that.

  5. I am a huge fan of all stringed instruments. The harp has a most soothing effect and the lovely bridge and fall colors I gve it 187 standing ovations.

  6. I truly love the sound of a harp. And I also enjoy watching a person play it. This is a beautiful piece.
