Menoizikul; Midweek Musicalisms

Our fourth composer with a birthday this month is an American fellow I had never heard of, or heard any of his works... I have become a fan. 

George Crumb, 24th October 1929, Charleston, West Virginia. His music is quite avant-garde and mostly requires an experienced ear, I would say. I did find myself seeking out several of his works and drifting away on them... here is a shortish piece that is quiet and calming.
