Menoturals; First Friday Filmclub

It's Nature Friday time again as we join the LLB gang to start 2026. Yes, this video has lots of nature in it, not just the escapee Valerie... and lots of views of Aussie country wilderness. A proper feel-good tale to begin the year.

  1. Perhaps I will wind up as the curmudgeon here, but it really annoys me when I see people letting their dogs jump up onto picnic tables. People eat there folks. Dogs may have all kinds of unmentionable material on their feet, let alone just plain mud and dirt. Your dog belongs on the ground or on your lap, not on the table.

  9. YAM I JUST WATCHED THIS AMAZING VIDEO...PROOF POSITIVE OF TOTO'S NICKNAME MIGHTY MINI DACSHSUND.
I GIGGLED AT THE SWEAT SHIRT. THE MORE DISGUSTING THE SMELL THE MORE TOTO LOVE IT. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY NASTY THINGS HE LOVED. HE WOULD ESPECIALLY GIVE THE CAR TIRES A ONCE OVER EVERY WEEK NO TELLING WHAT HE SMELLED...MAYBE ROAD KILL
AND I ONCE SAID ON MY BLOG THAT HIS FEET SMELLED LIKE DORITOS SOME TRIED TO TELL THE THAT SMELL WAS DUE TO YEAST INFECTION BUT NOW I'M CONVINCED IT WAS A DACHSHUND THING.
SO MANY THINGS HE WAS NOT AFRAID OF ANYTHING.
HUGS AND THANKS FOR THE SMILES AND MEMORIES THIS GAVE ME

  10. What a sweet story with a happy ending. Valerie must have found a food source somewhere to look so good after 18 months on the run, but however she survived I'm glad she made it back to her family.
