Menoturals: Exotica

It's that day of the week when we join in with the LLB gang and Nature Friday.

My thanks go to The Chair's human, for last Sunday we were introduced to an amazing creature that she met on her walk. (Not familiar with The Chair Speaks blog? Once a week, wanderings from the Eastern Tropics... do pay a visit!) I was so taken with the picture and the description of this snake that I just had to dig a little deeper... and found this delightful short video in which we witness the glide... Nature is just so awe-inspiring!!!

Oh that's a shame - but a quick enquiry of the search engine will bring other options - if interested. Yxx

  4. A snake is very appropriate this week, YAM. Yesterday we found a group of garter snakes that had evidently just emerged from a hibernaculum. It was very exciting. None of them flew through the air, though.

  8. Oh Wow! the snakes around here are Rattlers and Garter snakes! Luckily either of those son't fly (but they can swim!). Watching Marv chase the Garter snakes is fun! Thanks for sharing the POaradise Flying Snake and the Drako Lizard with us, they are so cool! Keep being AWESOME. Marvelous and Mom
