Yes, the plastic coverings are the things we have to start with. I don't use a lot of it, but the last lot I bought from my online Ethical Superstore (there will be similar in USA I am certain), came in a cardboard box. We must start with what we can, and build from there! Thanks for joining in the conversation! I don't know if they will ship to you (if they won't let me know and I will buy and mail), but a friend of mine makes a line of simple skin care that is in glass bottles, is organic, and cruelty free. It's the best stuff I've used for the price. It was something she made for herself and her family and when she lost her IT job, she started making it and selling it in farmer's markets and local health food stores. Awesome stuff.
https://www.frangipanibodyproducts.com/LBJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17795791180696109276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7874342578431143001.post-37965775160602791422018-03-16T01:07:16.947+05:302018-03-16T01:07:16.947+05:30Hari OM

An interesting exercise though and whilst I am not guilt-free myself, am definitely making efforts to swap for at least less-offending items. Tried for a cream-free time at the ashram and I went without all but deodorant - but I have such dry skin it was just unbearable! BRAVO and thank you for sharing this with us today.
Ironically I have a bit of news on the plastic front. Our grocery store has a huge salad bar. They have had the clear plastic containers with flip lid for YEARS. I noticed today they now have the new containers made from recycled materials. They still have small plastic containers for dressing storage. Those paper containers would soak up dressing. But baby steps anyway.
Hugs HiCMy Mind's Eyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12014097754516123017noreply@blogger.com
