To round off the month of spooky sounds, here is a band I had never heard of before doing this search. Muse is an English rock band who, apparently, have been around for a couple of decades and are big. I must have had my ears elsewhere. Still, the song title brought it right to the top of my search list. The videography references so many movies that it is easy to get distracted by spotting them all (not that I am a horror/zombie movie watcher, but one cannot escape the advertising of them).
The lyrics, though, reference coercive/narcissistic control - a nightmare on any street. I was intrigued this should come before me, having only yesterday listened to a podcast about such a case; the man was the victim of a seriously disturbed woman. Sadly, I can tell you I 'lost' two female friends to coercive relationships, and one male work colleague had a narrow escape. This is horribly prevalent. A suitably scary subject for Halloween. (Visual warning - vid contains fast-moving and flashing images.)
Nightmarish indeed!
