Hi Yam - I love ferns ... we had them at home, and they were all over the place in the valleys and hedges of Cornwall and the Lake District - both places we went every year (in the early days ...). Glorious photo ... have a peaceful weekend - cheers Hilary

We saw the most fabulous autumn contrasts today. F's photos rubbish as always but we will post some. Autumn might be a precursor to decay but it delights with its colour and feeds the next cycle of seasons.
Such a familiar autumn sight to go with Browning's interesting perspective on the season. (I associate Robert Browning with Spring - my mother was always fond of quoting his 'Oh to be in England, now that April's there'.) Cheers, Gail.
