Okay, it is 'the week', so this one is not entirely as left in the field of choices for music this month; however, it is a throwback to my childhood and one of my late mother's heartthrob singers. Indeed a voice of which I am quite fond also. The setting is very pretty - but just close your eyes and let this transport you to fond memories and sweet recall.
Not so much heartthrob but a definite favourite in our house. There are several LPs languishing here in a box somewhere and for many reasons ‘our’ song is his recording of The Twelfth of Never. And while I’m here I’ll wish you the best of Christmases Yam, whatever your beliefs, I hope if possible you are able to enjoy your family and have fun. The New Year will be here all too soon - see you then.
