Here we are at
Nature Friday once more. Today, I bring you a Moorhen, Peahens and their Cock, an African Grey Parrot (called Peter), and Cockatiels. The first was from the Edinburgh Botanic visit, the rest are from the Pets Corner at Hazlehead Park, Aberdeen.

Moorhens (and coots) have such wonderful feet. I love seeing moorhens scoot across lilypads

ReplyDeleteJungle Gardens here has a gray parrot like this one and the bird has an incredible vocabulary, he sings and talks and is really amazing. love the peahen, they are all fantastic photos, each and every one

ReplyDeleteWe love the peahen and peacock best of all. When we visited our son and his wife in California many years ago, we were astonished at the peacocks strutting up and down the streets of Arcadia. So beautiful.
