The list of February-born composers starts with a quite contemporary musician who is considered a prominent artist in the "new age" movement. A term I don't particularly favour. Let us substitute with 'ambient'. Either way, it is meditative and soothing to listen to.
Born as Masanori Takahashi on the 4th of February, 1953, in Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan, he is known professionally as Kitaro. My challenge was to pick a piece from the plentiful list!
That is the type of music that was played during some of my PTSD treatments. The definitely brings back healing memories. XX
