This one is going to challenge a few of you. It is definitely for the advanced musical ear - but that is not to say it is harsh or totally without charm. On the contrary, I found this particular piece (I listened to quite a few!) soothing and fitting to the December mood. Give it a go and tell me what you think. It's by this week's birthday boy, Zoltán Kodály (16th December, 1882, Kecskemét, Hungary).
Soulful music, great to listen.
ReplyDeleteIt's very peaceful to listen to in the quiet early morning.

ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoyed the whole piece...and could imagine being the background to a silent movie "back in the day"!
ReplyDeleteI 100% agree with LLB gang....it would be very dramatic silent movie music
