What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
Hari OM That's the European Robin, Dora - the one we have on all our Christmas cards! Mainly because it is colourful and stays around all winter (and has a lovely voice)... a bit like your Cardinal &*> Yxx
Hi Yam - great range ... love the kookaburras ... and those goats ... is that a 'Yesterday and Tomorrow Plant', I don't think it's a Frangipani ... but I suspect it's something else ... cheers Hilary
Hari OM It's a tree-like shrub that's a scent-free member of the jasmine family - but I am stuck for remembering it's local name just at the moment. The flowers are a favourite for use in puja (prayer offerings). Very different from Yesterday Today Tomorrow bush... which I had in my OZ garden and loved! Yxx
All great, but the robin is very seasonally appropriate. We are still trying to win the confidence and trust of the robins in our garden. We used to have one that ate from Mr B's hand, but my humans had to teach it to be wary of me - silly thing made a nest in the wood pile, and I can reach the woodpile. F fenced off the woodpile with netting a robin could get through (but not a cat), but something still got the robin nest? Rats? Stupid robin. furrings and purrings Mr T
Love looking through archives! great gobbets of nostalgia. As usual can't get to the video, Fiji seems to have really strange bans on YT videos, utterly baffling. Hope your week is going splendidly well.
The last bird photo I give a blue ribbon. What kind of bird is it?
