Please forgive the absence of any actual post today; possibly the next few days.
Voo-voo the Viao has got issues. Which means YAM does too. Not sure what happened, though it has proven darned inconvenio.
Long story short - it wouldn't wake up and went into emergency repair mode. No reasons given, but then why should an inanimate object articulate its pain to a mere mortal?
A bit of TLC has revived it but this involved some unplugging of essential softwares - and then when sought to go online, found that the etherwobble didn't want to play either.
So that you are aware, I write on the evening before date and post for a midnight (Mumbai) publishing - mostly - occasionally line up a few posts when time permits like the recent Kolwan series. So here I am now on Saturday night, wondering what is ahead - for the essential softwares are now downloading over a ridiculously snails-pace etherwobble link. All 112+ MB of them..... yes, you read that right. At the one hour point some 18% have been received. That means am here till midnight regardless.
Well Voo-voo is and it's all her fault after all.
This is not an excuse for you all to scarper! Please come back tomorrow and check on the patient. (Which by the way, I am fine apart from aggravated asthma and a serious case of dongle depression.)
