WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Me-Now-Views; Less Speak More Peek

Another Tuesday and time to share some shots of ordinary life in Dunoon.  Regulars will have noted that the sun has been in hiding for the best part of a fortnight now.  It did show it's face very late yesterday and as I prepare this on Monday evening, it has shown up again.

It reminded me of the incredible day of sunshine and warmth we had on the 26th March.  I went out without a hat on my head, with no real need for the jacket I had donned and I didn't even take the storm brelly with me!  Heady stuff.

See? Proof!  That is genuine sun-induced shadow right there.

There was an amazing amount of activity out on the water and round the town.  I took a wander to the shops (which was necessary) and then lingered as long as I could before coming home, stopping by The Yachtsman cafe for tea and cake (also VERY necessary...&*>)  Let me share.

It was so tasty; baked on the premises.  Then some youngsters came and played for a game of crazy golf!!!

Gulls, dogs, even swans were wallowing in the sunlight, folk on bikes, sitting on seats, just passing time in the great outdoors.  Signs of things to come...

Right then guys and dolls, time to join in the weekly linky fest we all so enjoy!  Have a good one...

p.s. I had never considered that there might be a "storm brelly". That is, not just the one umbrella, but perhaps a more durable one... It makes sense, but I'd never considered it before...

  6. Dunoon is so pretty in the sunshine. I was going to look through your older posts of places in Dunoon, but if they're all rain-in-Spain and dreary, perhaps I won't. I have a lovely sunshiney impression of the place now, and an overwhelming desire for cake.
