Menogust; new month, new blog!

Strewth, the year is bolting.  Having finally settled into a proper 'office' setup (as seen at the end of this lot), it has been time to refocus on the main purpose of the big move. To get back into researches and digestion of all the stuff studied over the last few years and, more specifically, at Sandeepany.

The books, having only been unpacked for a month, all sit on their shelves taunting me; which to open first? What to share and what not to share? The writing is all good and well but first one must read.

The presence of the Commonwealth Games and Test Cricket are hampering this somewhat!  No. Not the latter.  It is keeping me company as I flick pages and type sentences. Slows me down perhaps but at least it doesn't stop me altogether.  The Games, however, are another story. They demand to be watched. Swimming, gymnastics, bowls, rugby sevens, triathlon, cycling... crikey. Intravenous tellyviz required!!!

Just discovered, too, that the Edinburgh Fringe opens today.  Is it time to go check on the father..?

Distractions. They abound. Focus is the challenge. Begin with intent...
