Here is another of my long-term 'go-to' pieces. Such majesty, such pathos, such grandeur. Also a Dies Irae to match Mozart's and raise it note or several. Not all performances are equal, of course and I would have loved to have brought you a rendition from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra which I heard some ten years back; it wasn't available, but this one comes jolly close and has the bonus of the libretto being provided as subtitles; no excuses!!! &*>

I've sung these a couple of times. I really miss singing, but I just can't stand the drama and politics of choirs. Good memories, though! cheers from snowy Perth across the pond!
