WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menoffagainorrhea [me-noff-again-or-rhea]; the condition of the endless traveller

As Mac1 and I headed for a mid-arvo lunch, we passed by the Discovery Point, home of great ship of that name. Managed to squeeze off a shot to prove I was there!

We headed to the Bridge Bistro; at the North end of the great railway crossing.  Above, you see the sweeping curve. The bistro has window walls so the best of the view can be taken in.

An old carriage outside serves as the fast-food outlet for the bistro...and has interesting effects!

We ate an astoundingly good meal, simple but perfectly prepared. We lingered over it.

We drank cinnamon tea after.

We watched the sun set.

We talked the world and the small things in it.

Then came time to collect the Maestro from Uni and it was straight down the road again to Edinburgh. The New Bridge from the North approach... and a little detour for an old favourite.

...imagine how it would have looked if I'd had a tripod. The old hand is not as steady as it once was.

  5. I love watching the biathlon which is a sport that heavily depends on being able to stand still. The thing I have learned from that is that I will take a breath, breathe out and then I will take a photo. The photos come out surprisingly well!
