WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Me-Now-Views; Less Speak More Peek

...and now for something a little different.... Many visit here on this day who probably miss the remainder of the shenanigans at the YAMster's hutch. Big Day on Sunday just gone. If you are at all interested in the story leading up to this, then by all means drop back there and have a gander. It's pretty wordy though. Which most of you are trying to avoid today.  So here is the 'jugged' version of events.

ॐ YAM-yum has opened.

At that place you will find all sorts of goodies based upon my graphic art...

.......such as these mandala cards

You saw the original photo of this a few weeks back... the reflections on the water of Leith.

I took to the image and brought out several new and interesting "gaze pools"

There will be some stuff still recognisable as photography. Just.

A key aim is to provide images which will keep the eye (and therefore the mind) focused and pondering on the beauty of things and what lies behind

The floral offerings are already proving to be a hit!

Fine art prints, canvasses etc
Cushions, totes, satchels
Mugs, travel mugs
Tech-gadget covers
Duvet covers, leggings, scarves

Many of the images are from a few photographs only, worked and re-worked.

There is repetition of pattern in multiple colour-ways; this is partly so that folk can decorate according to their existing theme, mixing and matching, but also so that a new or statement piece can be brought in to life and home. Colouring the air. Subtle chakra stuff.

The plains act as cool pools...

...before diving into ever deeper spirals and celtic-like knottings and frayings.

Some of the patterns have been further manipulated to create more intricate, large fabric design ....

It will be a shifting, turning, ever-refreshing and constantly growing stock.

Thanks for your interest!  It nearly undid me trying to get it organised.... but that whole story is back on Sunday. Am getting over it.  Has your week been as productive???

  7. Fascinating!

For me is really difficult to read a long text in English. Would you add a Google Translator to your blog, please?
It's easy: go on Dashboard to "Layout" - add the gadget "Google Translator" - thats just all. Would be for me very useful, maybe for other visitors too?
    Have a nice time

By the way: the video is prohibited, must go to youtube to see it (I've gone), maybe you can still change the setting?

Oh Thank you so much for the feedback Mascha!!! One cannot know unless one is told.... I do have Google Chrome as my browser to it automatically translates yours and other foreign language blogs for me but I guess not every one uses that - so I will do exactly as you ask!!!

I am uncertain why the video is not working as I have not put any restriction upon it - it is full public view on tubular - I will recheck it.... Of course there are some countries/regional parts of Google which get restriction for no reason that is necessarily understood.... It is only a show of some other of my patterns - and for that you could just click to the RedBubble page - viewing is absolutely free!!! YAM xx
