MenoSunday; Life Lived Easy

My love of dance has been mentioned before. Ballet, ballroom, contemporary.... and there are some amazing b-boy dancers out there! I had initially started to search out some Bach for you this week... and, as can happen, surprising discoveries were made. I present you here with a nine minute extract from Bach-based B-Boy group 'Flying Steps'... I hope that you will be suitably impressed to go watch the documentary (here), as the back stories are interesting too.

  1. As someone with 2 left feet, I find this all very impressive.

Even with a (small) dancing background, I know this would have been totally beyond me, which is why I admire it!

  2. Just to let you know I am still around and did pop in.
Enjoyed dancing but unfortunately not for me any more.

  3. Wonderful accompaniment to Sunday breakfast.
(Although I can't help but wonder if spinning on one's head is good for you!)
    Have a great Sunday.
    Not raining here yet…
    Cheers, Gail.

It's athletic, heh na? these guys are a cross between gymnasts and contemporary ballet I reckon... and the Bach 'variations' worked well IMO. It started here a couple of hours ago; heyho....

As I said above, even with coordination I could never have matched this level of fitness!!!

  5. That is just brilliant! Mom wishes she could play Bach but of course she is lucky to play the most simplest tunes!
