What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
Crikey, that's another month done... and two thirds of 2015!!! Came across this Bulgarian world music/modern chant group on one of my random trawls of the tubular. Lovely classical, madrigal-like rhythms combined with Sufi sounds and Bulgarian folk. I liked it - how about you?
(Castlefest is a Dutch annual gathering of Mediaeval/fantasy enthusiasts...at least that's what Wiki tells me.)
Hari OM Hmmmmm yes - I suspect much is owed to LOTR and Hobbiton for such fests... and that is just fine; particularly if the music standard is as high as this... In fact have discovered another band, possible better than this even.... appeals to the Celt in me! Yxx
Oh I love such festivals... it's great that you shared the music with me... so we can enjoy a little bit of the festival flair... since our plan to visit Cidre&Dragons in normandy bursted like a bubble after the bad adventure of my dad...
Hari OM Oh nooooo - I love the idea of mixing intoxicated apples with fire-blowing lizards.... I wonder if this band, or the other one I found called Omnia would have played there also? Anyhoo - the good news you're dad is healing, so you make sure to continue your ministrations of pawsome nursing to him and there will be many other festivals to come! Yxx
the have van canto, fenrirs and other bands, I sadly forgot the names . and even a quidditch game and a trollball :o) the idea to drink fiery cidre from a dragon was not bad. I always wanted to watch a festival in normandy and we decided to see one this year... butt... well... life happens while we making plans :o( I agree the main thing is, my dad feels better... and the dragons are there since centuries they maybe can wait another year for us :o)
Isn't it true? We went from high heat, to cool September temps in a week. Lovely sleeping at night, tho. I'm just not quite ready for the turning of the season. I love watching the woman in the vid. You go deeper as you watch her intimacy with the song!
Castlefest sounds like fun and the music is enchanting.
