WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menobabble 'Bout the Bubble

As the sleep counter clicks away the valuable time between now and flying, the scheduling of posts has been going on apace. Still work to be done, but am content that all that can be done has been getting done. The important one, as mentioned before, is the teaching bloggy (Aatmavrajanam), and that is pretty much completed. This one will have to take its chances.

I could have just left things and done what I could whilst away. Pretty sure the sky wouldn't collapse. However, things took a side-dive when YAMspetoo, the tablet, had a sudden-death event. It is not a software collapse, this one. Hardware's gone bust.

Not surprising, to be honest. I don't half belt the bejiggery out of my computers.

Of course it is out of warranty and, frankly, cost of repair is not competitive, as these models are much reduced in price now.  So much changes in two years and what was fairly cutting-edge now looks troglodyte.

Sigh. This means that darling old Vindaloo Voo-voo the Vaio of Mumbai is doubling up on its workload at the moment.

Plus I don't have hardware to pack for OZ. This is actually rather freeing. I shall be able to beg and borrow equipment on the other side, so am not worried. Neither am I too concerned at loss of Y2 - other than that I loved it and miss its convenience - because I kept next to no files actually on the hardware; everything is in The Cloud. ... and on pen drives.

Meanwhile, at the risk of being self-promotional for a moment, I received my next item from RedBubble. Confession time; hello, my name is YAM and I am a scarfaholic. I am indiscriminate. Shawls and wraps are also imbibed. Fabrics of wool or silk are favoured. However, modern fibres are not ignored if they are of highest quality.

This 100% polyester microfibre is of the highest quality... as is the printing of my original artwork upon it. .... there are two more on order........
