MenoSunday; Life Lived Easy

Image result for fourth advent candle

The penultimate Sunday of the year - and fourth in Advent. Would normally put something fairly traditional in this slot. However, one insomniac night, three months back, when plotting this all ahead of time... a moment of distraction happened me upon this. There is a very peculiar few seconds at the beginning - well, actually, there's a couple of minutes of slight peculiarity - but get past that and sweetness develops! Here's the thing. I don't recall ever having heard this before yet, on investigation, there are claims that it is one of the most played Christmas pieces ever. Bing died a month after recording it. This article is an interesting read, if you are so inclined.
