Me-Now-Views; Less Speak More Peek (with just a hint of the menoloopal)

This first one is not from the Fudge... it's a screen shot from Voovoo the Vaio. Why? WELL... you recall the rant last Thursday about 'big-ether-eye' checking through our computers about our whereabouts and habits? Okay maybe I wasn't as overt in language on that post as here just now - but here's the proof...

"What's the fuss?" are you asking? I booked my flight for the BAR couple weeks back. Then at the weekend I thought 'better start getting serious about routes and travel plans'... where else to start but at my landing spot?... are you getting an inkling?.... yes folks - they know exactly when the YAMster hits the ground in the good ol' you ess of ehhhh?!!!

To counterbalance that rant, here are some menosukhi pictures taken from a holiday in OZ. Mac2 had come over for a visit and we took a trip up-country; to a spot where not even television signal penetrated, never mind mobile phones or internet. It was a week of bliss.
(These are also not from the Fudge - these were taken with the old Minolta. It was 11 years ago!)

  2. Who would want to go home. Looks like a wonderful place to go exploring and leaving a little pee mail behind.

    Aroo to you,

  3. One does wish for more peace and quiet. I went back and read your rant ~ I heard nothing was going to work on older equipment that is why I updated my computers to Win10 but I am still dealing with glitches. As for tracking and cookies I guess I figure who in their right mind is going to want to track a dog blog and if they do want that knowledge what will they gain. Now a real rant would be if one delved into the Apple debate ~ which I am not going to do.
    Thanks for being a friend

  4. Crikey ...... Jade's sleeping on my doona cover. Arrrrrrrr!! Stroud .... I love it. One of Mum's favourite parts of Australia. We travel the Bucketts Way often. Lousy road but the scenery is to die for, aye?? AND to make it even better .... LOTS of rabbits.

  5. I haven't been to O'Hare in years, but drive under the flight path at least once a year, going to visit Ann in Wisconsin. June 8 is just around the corner.

  8. Beautiful scenery!. Sorry to hear your Greta button has gone missing. Be sure to remind Mom this fall when we do our giveaway and she will send you another.
She did have one button left but just gave it to a lady she met at dog training class. The lady lost her mother to breast cancer and mom thought she would like one. the lady gave mom a big hug

  9. I don't even want to know what they know about me! They probably know more than I do!! Mind you, that is one reason I don't do mobiles with internet access. Home suits me well enough!

  12. I make sure I turn off a lot of things. I find people on Twitter will let everyone know when they are in a certain spot, meaning their home is vacant. It's a crazy system.
I have a new computer, and it's driving me nuts. They are making apps to better work across all platforms, going to the lowest common denominator. Silly geeks... xx
