Today, a sharing of the Love Divine from HH Dalai Lama. This is, of course, a very personal item for the MacLean clan - but as it played out before an audience 2000+, it is also for all. This is a moment to thank all those who sent such wonderful "POTP" to Amy during her illness. Her farewell last Monday was astoundingly, brilliantly, pristinely beautiful. A surfeit of words? Not really - there are not enough words to express how it was. Her wicker casket was perfect. The cool morning quickly blossomed into an incredible spring day. The Humanist ceremony simple and perfect, Jamie expanding on his initial response to the news... read out to a chapel attendance in excess of 200 people. Many of those folk of 'standing'; not least a representative, we were told later, on behalf of the Dalai Lama.
It was also learned that the gentleman who had recorded the event at Edinburgh's Usher Hall twelve years back, was so moved at the departure of Amy for Higher Things, he shared to YouTube the clip of her performance - and, importantly, the spontaneous response of His Holiness, which broke protocol. Think not this simply a boast of a proud aunty; Listen closely and tell if you do not feel the touch of angels... Do please wear your earphones for this one, because via Amy, you can also receive His Blessings!

Now, there follows some indulgence. For those whom I know are interested in celtic music generally, harp music particularly, the following is a modern delight; what is more, it involves Drake Music, the charity which works so closely with musicians of all abilities. Amy was one such, her dear friend Rhona another. They both take solo parts in this piece. Drake Music is one of the charities which would benefit through the Moar Legacy Just Giving page. Another charity about which Amy was passionate, Scottish Love in Action, is the other.Thank you.
The Sound of a harp is Beautiful...
