Me-Now-Views; Less Speak More Peek - More Menotripsical Moments

These are a few 'spares' from the great Cincinnati (pre-meal) tour.

...what??? Well, they do have a Monster Mash feel to them!

This is the old telescope in its 'new' building. It still operates and is used for public showings.

Let's finish with a panorama... 180' of Observatory Hill.

It's worth the biggification...

I love that shot looking down from the Observatory steps and seeing the tall windows and old light fixture, glass globe and wood floors.
It has always fascinated me that they used cannon balls as rollers to open the Observatory domes when first built.
Thanks for being a friend

Yam what a beautiful hidden treasure you found in Cincinnati!!
Lee and Sweet William were the purrfect hosts.
I had no idea about the Painted Ladies. I only associated them with San Francisco.

Good Day, Yam!
Some of the most fun of traveling is seeing the different architecture. On this side of the pond I try to figure out the decades the homes were built. Totally different in Europe.
