What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menoverit?

How was your festive day? Are you in recovery? To save your eyes a bit after yesterdays full-worded post here at MENO-blog, I think I'll just plug in a three pretty piccies to add to the Me-Now-Views listing.

Over in Edinburgh, the father needed a bit of a boost to get festive.
I wrapped all the family parcels and then said they needed a tree.
It came down from the attic dressed in globes and lights.
It will go back in the attic fully dressed, ready for next year!

One morning in Edinburgh, it dawned silver and cream...

...the next morning it was raging red!

  3. Festive day here went better than predicted. Well done for sorting out the tree in Edinburgh!
Cheers! Gail (and Bertie, who was not 100% well behaved when visiting the poodle cousins earlier today.)

  5. Such beautiful colors.

Well, that was a good way to get your dad's tree up and prepare for next year.

  6. I love this idea to let the tree sleep with the decorations till next christmas... the removing of all the baubles and ornaments is a work I don't like... thanks for a clever idea :o)))

  7. Ah yes, the red skies. We have had some of those as well. Apparently as a pre-cursor for more bad weather (which has indeed arrived).

I once put my tree away with all the lights still in it. Not a clever idea, since the lights are two parts and the tree is three parts and in the end I had to take all the lights out again anyway and start all over. Mind you, it is part of the charm. About 2%... ;)

  8. What a sweet little tree. Ours stayed in storage this year. Between all the trips to the Dallas and Oklahoma areas and a week at our sons on grand kid and dog duty it just was not worth the effort as the tree is almost 10 feet tall! Must downsize.... Love the sunrise photos! janice xx

  9. Woooooooooooooo YaYa what gorgeous sky shots.
Now that is a great idea to leave the tree decorated and carefully stored for the next year.
