WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menoccifer... OoWaC-adoo-wackaday!

HARI OM!!!

Let me begin, by telling you that the greeting which always precedes one of my comments on your blogs holds the meaning of "all is One and One Alone". Most of you are familiar with the more generally used 'namaste', which holds meaning of acknowledging the divine in the other being greeted. Both indicate and acknowledge Unity of Spirit, regardless of background or philosophy.

Why remark on this on a post about the Office of Wellness and Concerns, part of the Blogville administration?

Well... The greetings express captial 'ell' Love. Blogville is brimming with Love and support for its 'citizens'. It is at the very core of OoWac too.

It was a great honour to be invited by the new Mayor of Blogville, Mr Arty, to take a second term in office. Over the past two years, under the term served by the Doodz, there have been lots of fun posts, meaningful posts, impawtant posts, but most of all the spreading of Love posts. You can expect this to continue.

Here at OoWaC you will find the MenoSunday and Menorise posts taking things a bit on the serious side; then there will be the Menokakkuls, First Friday Filmclub and Final Friday Fiction posts, bringing some entertainment. In between there will be lots of variety, including photos from all over the place by yours truly, writings about travels, health and well-being, environment, tech stuff... in short, OoWaC is here to ensure you are informed and enlightened with good vibes and succour.

You should know that you always have a listening ear here, too; if you have any worries or concerns that you think might be resolved with a little mediation or 'agony-aunting', you must certainly ask! There is a contact form on the Wild Yam page (second tab up top), if you don't already have my email... or just be brazen and ask in the comments box!

I am sure that everyone will find something to enjoy here. In 2017 Blogville is going to have lots more fun and interesting times. Who'd want to be anywhere else??!!!

Now... having said all that, I must announce that I am actually travelling for the months of January and February; first to India and then to Australia. However, to not leave a blank space, there will be scheduled daily posts of a very different kind... which it is hoped you will much enjoy. You see, starting tomorrow, I am going to let the stuffies take over for the month of January in the Monday - Thursday posts, because in India there will be no internet access. Every Friday will be Film Club. February will have a few stuffy posts and there will be some rerun of popular posts from the last four years - although I will be in OZ by that time and may be able to access internet; so let's say anything could happen.

It does mean that for at least the first month, I will not be able to read any blogs, never mind comment. Whilst it will be a joy to be in my spiritual cradle I don't doubt that I will miss you!

Thank you Arty, thank you Blogvillagers. I Love you all!!!  Hugs, wags, whiskeries, clackities, growlies, squawks. YAM-aunty xxx

NOW - hop on over to visit our new mayor Arty and see the blog hop for other posts connected with the inauguration of the Blogville Administrative Team, 2017!!!

  2. Oh gosh we are lucky in Blogville to have so many wonderful and wide-ranging talents in our Administration. The OoWaC makes such a great contribution to the life of the community, and Gail and I are thrilled to see that the good work will continue. I, Bertie Boffin, Director of Scientific Affairs, like to think that our two offices are not, as some might imagine, at odds, but rather they are complementary, each devoted to enriching our community according to our preferred way of thinking about the world!
