Not to be out done by the doodz and their peeps, here is how the YAMster's plants are doing on the Hutch 'terrace'... NB this picture is now two weeks old, and the plants are more like triffids - have got to work out a way to keep them watered whilst am away for the family holiday soon...

  1. Very pretty and I love your sunroom!! We found a perfect watering solution while we are away. It can probably be purchased on line but we bought ours at a garden shop. It is glass with a long neck that ends in a ball. YOu fill it with water then stick the long neck into the soil it self waters as it gets dry.

Yes, I have seen similar things and that is the sort of thing I had in mind... I did try this week using an old 4pt milk plastic, but the it just kept pouring and guzzling and the thing half emptied in less than five minutes! Will need to rethink that one... Yxx

  3. I know how to have them watered! It's tricky, and you have to experiment with it. First, get them out of the sun! xo

  10. The plants look as if they're thriving! Running a little late this year, we just picked up several cherry tomatoes plants yesterday to go in the greenhouse.

  12. I'll have to get a photo of our tomato plants. They will need daily watering while we are gone. Thinking about hiring a grand daughter to do the task.
