Menosukhi for Monday

It has been a while since the PDSA sent me an update; after Angel moved on, my sponsorship was transferred to Poppy. Here, at last, is some news!

  8. A wonderful report on lovely Poppy. Our darling border collie Rory was disabled by arthritis; he was a brave gentle dog. I'm so glad that Poppy can be comfortable despite her condition.

  9. What a wonderful gesture for such a beautiful girl !
Some years ago, when we had two dogs of our own, we sponsored a dog which had many health problems, and couldn't be re-homed. The Charity who looked after her asked us to go and visit her, so we did, and took bedding, toys and treats for her and the other dogs. We didn't come home empty handed - but agreed to adopt a sweet spaniel cross pup. to add to our family. The following year (having lost one of our dogs)when we went to the kennels again to renew our sponsorship, we adopted a beautiful female yellow Labrador ! Sadly the Charity folded shortly afterwards, although if it had continued we would probably have had a house full of dogs !

yes that's how it goes!!! I am in a situation whereby it is not possible for me to have another dog (at least for now), so my way of getting my fur-fix is to sponsor and to share with all the great doggy and cat bloggers in Blogville! thanks for visiting - have seen you around but can find no way to reach you other than this reply box. Yxx
