"Good morning weathercock, how'd ya fare last night?
Did the cold wind bite you, did you face up to the fright, when the leaves spin from October and whip around your tail?
Did you shake from the blast, did you shiver through the gale?
Give us direction; the best of goodwill,
Put us in touch with fair winds.
Sing to us softly, hum evening's song.Tell us what the blacksmith has done for you."
...Jethro Tull...
Well look at the blue skies over Scotland!! A rare but very welcomed sight I'm sure. The stained glass window is beautiful

A great color progression. Can you give me some reference material on the round weaving under the highland bovine? Thanks!

DeleteHi Joanne,
That is another vignette from the large mural in Nairn... if you look top right corner above Mac1's head (3rd from bottom of that post) you will see how it fits into the whole. It would make a great weaving/fabric work though!!! Yxx
Can't beat a post that begins with a Heilan' coo and ends with Jethro Tull (and has some mighty fine photos in-between).
ReplyDeleteCheers! Gail.

DeleteWell that Mr Bull needs his bangs cut his fur is in his eyes! The dapple sun coming through the trees looks like a fair day in your bonnie land. Wish I was there and not here.
