MenoSundays; Life Lived Lovingly

The last day of 2017. It has been a challenging year for many, on a personal level and for nations and globally. It would be naive to think that there will be much improvement at any speed for most of the political stuff. However, there is no reason why we all can't expect better in personal matters. External affairs to do affect us, no doubt; but it is worth remembering that in all things, it is how we act/react which can make or break a situation.

Let others act and say as they will. Be responsible only for your own thoughts and deeds.

Enjoy yourselves now, as we say goodbye to the old one and rush headlong into the next. Be safe. Be well. Be happy.

  2. There is no question that there is much we can do on a personal level, and the combination of many good deeds and principled actions by every day folk can make a difference, but it is difficult to be hopeful on a global level when we have Donald Trump causing havoc at every turn. It would be one thing if his idosy were confined to the U.S. but a good deal of his irrationality affects the whole world.

  3. If everyone were to be responsible for his or herself in all things said and done, then maybe it could have an impact on things more globally.

    Happy New Year.

This last year has been a challenge, full of good things and bad things. I learned a lot about myself and I am going to continue my personal growth through the next 12 months. I am looking forward to starting each day a new!

  6. Sage advice for the new year. It recalls something I recently read: “No one of you has been appointed to be judge of others. It is all that you can do to discipline yourselves.” I’m wishing you a new year of abundant kindness, good health, and cheerful adventures.

  9. You can't always control what happens to you but you can control how you react.

May 2018 be a less expensive year filled with love and laughter.
