First Friday Filmclub

This was rather exciting. The lads in wheelchairs and the young ladies having limited or no hearing. The first dance is in silence, then it gets lively! Bharatnatyam is the Indian 'classical ballet'. Jugalbandi is a musical duel.

  1. YAM-Aunty oh my word. I am just astounded and amazed. What a beautiful video from the very silent to the very peppy. Proof positive what can be done when one TRIES and steps outside of his/her comfort zone.
    Thank you HiC

  6. Wonderful! My Youngest son is part of a disabled dance troop in Edmonton Alberta, He has been dancing for over 10 years and does some choreography. Hes not in a wheelchair but several of the members are (Ian was hit by a truck when he was 8 and is partly paralyzed on his left side). It takes a lot of grit and practice for these young people!
Thanks for your prayers for my Dad. he is doing a little better and they are hoping he can have an MRI on Monday to see what they can do for him.
