WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Me-no-laffin

Sorry... a break because of a break... broke my wrist on Monday night. The left one, but as am ambidexi and use that one as my dominant for pooter work it is going to be a serious impediment.

One of those 'how did that happen' moments... one minute was up next minute feet had gone opposite direction to rest of me, and the wrist carried the full brunt. for the first time since starting the blog, it too is going to have to take a break. there are a few posts already scheduled and may manage some photo stuff once am over the shock and have less pain,,, thanks all for your positive vibes and healing thoughts! have rec'd many lovely greetings and wishes... but Arty won my heart yet again with this pose

Hard to beat, right?! I was blessed with a very kind neighbour too, who drove an hour and a half from her family home to come to take me from the A&E ... and my sister Mac1 drove over from Edinburgh on Monday night so that she could take me to the fracture clinic at Greenock in the morning and then whisk me back to Edinburgh to stay at the father's place. ...and he thought he was free of me for a month!!!

It took me an hour to type and edit this...just for the record.

Not the week I'd been planning, but, hey-ho... YAM xx

  4. The best laid plans etc..... Our national bard said it so well.
I do hope you are allowing yourself to be looked after a bit in Edinburgh, and the shock subsides soon (the pain may take a little longer I'm afraid).
Well done for putting together this post!
Bertie and I are sending love and hugs,
    Gail.

  11. These accidents sure do put life on hold and change our plans. So glad it was not worse!! And that you had people to come help when you really needed it. Enjoy your stay with your dad. And take good care of yourself so your wrist can heal. And the rest of your body because a fall and injury can make everything hurt.

  12. I've been away from the internet for a while. I'm so sorry about your wrist. Ouch! I recently broke a rib, and so I know how much a fracture hurts. Take it easy... we'll be waiting when you come back from healing. Sending Lab love and POTP.

  16. Oh Gosh Darn how painful that has to be. I'm guessing the vertigo or dizziness we both suffer from had something to do with the feet going the wrong direction. Sending healing vibes.
