WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

MenoSundays; Life Lived Lovingly

...'fraid to say am still struggling. The third week of the viral infection now, and due to the racking cough of the second week, torn intercostal muscles brought pain... and then pleurisy developed. Am now in the "stop and let me off" stage... sigh...

Yes, there's a bit of me wanting to be on a warm Aussie beach again, pronto. No point letting the mind linger too long on that fact, though. Else I'll end up bluer than the hue of that image!

I did pop over to Edinburgh but spent minimal time with the father as didn't want to risk his contracting the lurgy. Only stayed a couple of days, first to see L'il Ren through her annual service and second to be with father during an assessment for a power wheelchair for him. That went well and one is now on order. I came back to the Hutch on Friday and am in full recuperative mode. Sleep when I want to, eat when I want to and occasional forays on the computer. But mostly rest and warmth. Heatpacks required as the British Summer has yet to arrive.

Love has come to me from a few little corners and I am most grateful to those few who have reached out in the ether. Sorry to be quite so MIA on blogs/comments.

I pray you are all in good health and feeling strong!

It took B a full month to get over whatever he had.

  2. Hoping to hear soon that "full recuperative mode" is bringing benefits. Some ever so slightly warmer weather would help too, for sure.
    Cheers, Gail.

  12. Hi Yamini,
Really worried as viral is a lot debilitating. I think warm water with lemon juice and honey in the morning helps a lot in clearing the system of toxins and soothes the cough.
    Take care!
