Menosukhi Mondays; soft spot fur furiends

As noted yesterday, there have been visitors to The Hutch. Dear Bertie and Gail arrived on Friday, on what was really quite a fine day. One of the better Scottish summer days that do happen. Occasionally.

Lunch was ready for their arrival and lots of catch-up chatter, then a shopping trip and a walk along the promenade saw us through to the evening.

Welcome!
Hello, pup, who are you then?
I am Jackson and I like you furry much!
Saturday brought the 'situation normal, all fizzed-up' overall grey, cool temps and wet stuff. Not so bad in the morning, so we took our chances - and our brollies - and headed out for a constitutional.

The walk to the Victorian pier along the promenade was okay, but the brollies had to rise when we got there and didn't really go down again. It made taking photographs a bit tricky. Bertie wasn't really that interested in posing on this occasion. Fair enough, I wouldn't be all that happy at sitting my tushy on damp stone either!

Back at The Hutch, time for a play.

... there may be more...
