Our pals at LLB are doing their fifth annual Halloween posts and comments donations for shelters blog hop... The charities I donate to are mostly national - but there is one local one called Daisy's Den; they run a little thrift shop and use all the profits to help out local dogs whose owners are in strife or have had to let them go for some reason. I love that shop and visit it regularly. There is always something to buy and I know my pennies are going to a great local cause! Now, for a bit of fun. |

I love this shop!!!! and I wish every town would have such a place...
ReplyDeleteWe have a Thrift shop that has the best deals on NICE $$$$ pocketbooks. I bought a designer backsack from them before our trip to Colorado. I needed something for pocketbook stuff and my iPad. It was $5.00 real leather grayish. Had a D on it. All the folks on our tour kept asking what D was for I said in honor of my Diva cat at home.

What a lovely tradition - a support shelters blog hop! My favorite local cat shelter does a "spooktacular" fundraiser at this time as well - and it's always such fun. Lots of treats and always a few charming kitty tricks as well.
