I love this quote and your header is beautiful and festive... here in Florida we have hordes of homeless people. I think more than usual because our year round weather makes it easier to live here.. whatever the reason, I always smile and speak to them when I come face to face. Once while eating a meal with the homeless at our church, I asked the table of 7 what upset them the most about being homeless. they all agreed it is the fact they feel ignored, no eye contact, no speaking to them, no smiles to them. of course there are some you do not want to smile at, but they would be obvious
Hari OM Just the other day, I too smiled (and dropped a coin) for one of our homeless - just one drop, one little acknowledgement of existence... and the smile I got back was like the light of the fullest moon... Yxx
