What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menoizikul; Midweek Musikakkuls

April 2020. A time that will be written up in the history books, for sure. I was not the only one who was reminded of the classic film The Day The Earth Stood Still (forget the 2008 Keanu Reeves version - not horrid, just not classic).

Anyway, wondering about a theme for this month's midweek offerings, the word 'mayhem' was front and forward. Typing that into the search bar of the tubular thing, brought forth some interesting selections. We'll skip the black metal band of that name. I have picked a few that I liked the sound of, even though far from my usual listening tastes. I wonder what you will make of them.

First off the list, is this set up for a House Concert; I liked the filming and quite liked the beat. Forgive the flashing at the beginning, it only lasts a few seconds (and again at the end).

LOL - fair enough... that's kinda the purpose of these this month - stir the nest a bit and all that! (Incarceration breeds mischief - cousin to mayhem &*>) Yxx

  7. I'm with Sandra. I did watch it but it's wasn't my favorite video that you have shared here. Happy April!

  8. "The Day The Earth Stood Still" maybe if it stood still the coronavirus would stop progressing and the curve would flatten and all would be great again. We seem to be living in a science fiction nightmare.

  9. Stay safe and well. I liked the music, but then I mostly like your selection :) Some mums with kids are using this opportunity to get them to journal, so that they have a personal record of the corona times when they're grown up.
