What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menopalongalingaling; Deep Breaths

Mac3 made a flying visit north. Drove up Friday. Managed three visits to see father, leaving early Monday morning. It was a good decision on his part, for the days of life draw less.

Father has been swimming solo in these his final days. I am sure that the sound of our voices is part of the sea in which he floats and our Love is like the waves, lapping him. It is a reality that we all must swim alone, be it to enter life or leave it. When we arrive we take deep breaths. Again as we leave.

We are on watch and wait. In between the watching, during the waiting, we take deep breaths and busy ourselves with everyday stuff. It's how it goes, heh na?

  5. F's SIL is a nurse and said they were taught that the last sense to go (the one that stays accute through more than we imagine) is hearing. Your voices will be providing great comfort to him. Love and hugs. Furrings and purrings F and Mr T (and the small orange tearaway who is going to a new home tonight.)

  6. The swimming solo image seems apt, and your love will ensure the water is warm and comforting, more child's bath temperature than North Sea!
