Well, the unexpected has a habit of springing itself upon us, is it not so? No sooner had we started moving things forward as hinted yesterday, than overnight on Wed/Thurs, father threw some kind of physical 'tantrum', sufficient for me to have to call the ambos.
He is now in hospital. All tests in A&E have left them scratching their heads. He is transferred to the medical unit for time being. It could go either way.
Meanwhile, here is a piccie from the archives. I have OCD... Obsessive Coo Disease...
oh nooo... we send lots of positive thoughts to you... and we send you a big hug... and we will kepp you in our thoughts...
ReplyDeleteAlthough my first reaction is "oh no", there are times, in my experience, when it comes as a bit of a relief to have the hospital in charge.
ReplyDeleteStill keeping you in my thoughts.
That is a very handsome Coo.
Hugs, Gail.
I thought 100% the same thing as Gail..I hope and pray there will be some resolution.
ReplyDeleteHow are you feeling? The beautiful cow made me smile ...those eyes
Sending hugs and love...
Cecilia and Bryan
Sorry to hear about your dad and his Tantrums but agree with everybody else so that might turn out to be a good thing that the hospital will have some input into what is going to happen and maybe this might help with making the decisions that y'all are being forced to make. Hugs and prayers coming your way
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry you have so much to deal with. We hope the hospital can sort things out. Maybe the transition to the care facility can happen from the hospital rather than from home. Either way it isn't likely to be very easy. We have you in our thoughts and prayers. And your Dad too.
ReplyDeleteHair pulling situation! I do hope though that some stuff will be sorted out now, with or without his consent. Needs must, not just for him, but for you and your siblings as well. It will still be tough though.
ReplyDeleteA massive big klem from all of us!
We're so sorry to hear of this turn of events but hope everything will work out in the end. Our paws are crossed that all goes well for your dad and all of your family.
ReplyDeleteGail said it well...I third that(after C)and wish I was there to give you a big hug!
ReplyDeleteOh my. It seems father is in needs of even more professional care than you hands alone can provide.
ReplyDeleteHug. And head butts and lots of sliding around and wrapping of tail. (That's the furrings) and purrings because we purr at a resonance that heals things. xxx Mr T
ReplyDeleteDear Yam - oh dear ... so difficult for you - but a relief he's in the hospital.
