Do Swedish moose have those great big wide palmate antlers? Or is this just the wrong season to be seeing those? F had a colleague once (a Skandihooligan) who used to home home for moose hunts from time to time (We think she called them elk). Is it warming up where you are yet, or are you planning to migrate with the moose(s)? Personally prefer mouse(s). Fz & Pz Mr T
Hari Om The answer is yes to both those questions. As to elk v moose - strictly speaking, these are European Elk but they are moose in species, 'elk' being a tribe within that.
I have to say it is still not very warm and has been excessively wet and windy here by the Hutch. Kerazy weather... Yxx
I love how the Swedish tv already is telling you: these are the highlights! In Norway we had something similar each year. For some people it was the highlight of the season, for others the most boring thing to watch. Mind you, sailing along the coast is a bit more boring than following moose. At least I think so.
Moose always bring back memories of a magical night spent camping by a small lake in Glacier National Park in August 1990, and going to sleep to the sound of a small herd of moose slurping up the pondweed.
The moose has such a handsome profile and expressive eyes. Mr. Fox was a surprise. Gail's comment was very descriptive..I think I almost heard the moose slurping. Hugs Cecilia
They are just absolutely gorgeous animals and I love each and every one of these photos. That fox is all my precious list and those big ugly faces to me are so beautiful
I visited the site and thought it wonder filled. A good deal of technology noted. It seemed the sound of the camera rotation would be noted by the critters. namaste, janice xx
What a terrific looking moose! There are quite a few around here and we have a herd of Elk that just moved into the area. We don't have any fox, but we do have coyotes and a brand new pack of wolves. I the photos you have clipped from the video! Thanks for sharing!
