Me-Now-Views; Less Speak More Peek

Some scenes from Sandeepany this week... I have so many images from that time but shown so few. Mainly because the camera I had (certainly in the first year) produced very poor quality - by today's standards. The memories sparked, however, are still crystal clear...

  1. The photos look beautiful to us. We especially like the blue gate. The bench around the tree looks like a great spot for conversing and reading a book.

  5. Other commenters are on it when they remark the peace that is conveyed in these photos. xxx Mr T (who loves a peaceful nap and wishes F would get a quieter keyboard)

  6. When your mind's eye clearly sees images/experiences from years ago, you know it was a defining moment in your life.

  7. My eyes see absolutely nothing wrong with any of these photos! They're all gorgeous my favorite is the gate and in a close tie with that is the two ladies in the photo below the gate. They are all absolutely beautiful photos

  10. The photos of the arch gate and the women sitting under the tree look nice ...
In that pooja photo, the woman on the right, the one who is placing, I guess, some flowers on the pedestal, I thought, for a moment, was Mata Amritanandamayi. However, when I showed the photo to my wife, she disagreed, and said, no doesn't look like. (By the way, I have had opportunities to write about the work Mata Amritanandamayi has been doing.)

&*> I can see why you thought so - this amma has now passed, sadly. The two ladies were good friends to me and had shoulders to lift when I struggled... Mata-ji is a true inspiration; several of my batchmates had been in her presence. Indeed Kalpana - the other lady in those two photos - had been quite involved there as much as in Chinmaya mission and had Amma's image by her bedside! Yxx
