Menoizikul; Midweek Musicalisms

Yesterday you were given the full lyrics and today... well. Really, could there be any other choice for ending this year's run of musicalisms???

  2. the Highlands are just as beautiful as my imagination thought they were, i spent about 20 years of my life reading historical fiction, so have seen the Highlands many times in my mind. I have all my life loved the sounds of bagpipes. In Savannah Georgia they always have a lot of parades and there is never one without marching bagpipes. thanks for sharing

  3. As always, I had fun trying to locate places in the video. The Torridon village at the foot of Liathach at around two minutes I think!

  4. YAM I am clapping what a beautiful video and audio. I love bagpipes. Back in the late 1980's NC State University had a most moving ceremony to bring in the fall semester. At noon all were invited to Riddick Stadium for a pep rally.
At about 12:20 in the distance we could here the entire NCSU Marching band as they walked toward the Stadium, playing several songs. One could nearly feel the beat of the drums and bagpipes on the ground. The three bagpipes were the first thing we could see as they entered the stadium. It was indeed a moving sight.
