A bit of fun and hark-back to the 1980s... A little bit of the 'Welsh Elvis' for you - none other than Shakin' Stevens!

  2. Near where I live there's an elvis impersonator who calls himself Elvis Preseli - which is one of the best puns I've heard. The hills by my house are the preseli mountains!

  3. Mmmm. Shaking Stevens. Quite cheerful, bit I never really was a fan.
    Cheers! Gail.
PS Hope you kept safe in last night's storm. It was fierce in Aberdeen when I ventured out to Pliates at 6:30 pm.

Barra started up early here and hit maximum over the middle hours; it never got light, requiring lamp to burn the whole day. It was wild, but I suspect that, just as with Arwen, we didn't get the fullest brunt of it here, though it definitely wasn't pleasant and I would not have ventured out in it! Seems it has cleansed the air, for today is quite still and the sun just claimed the sky.

I was never a 'Shakey' fan either - but it was a happy-clappy cheery tune and not one that anyone else is likely to pick for their festive selections!!! Yxx
