WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menopurayshunal Intermuttsus

Well now, here's a thing... dear ol' Voovoo the Vaio just couldn't keep anchored in the ether. Her connection is no more. It is defunct. Silent.

There I was on Friday evening, fed, watered and ready to rumble with the next episode of the Menoculayshunal series when, "PHUT!" Gone. I was tapping into nothingness. Real nothingness, not the ethereal nothingness. Having given up on the main wifi route, Voovoo now didn't want to work through the intermediary of the YAMroid either.

For two hours I set and reset, booted and rebooted. I gritted teeth, ground teeth and gnashed teeth. I even attempte to pull out what remained of the thin, thin, thin hair... but to no avail.

I called Mac1 out of sheer desperation. We talked things through... my pension doesn't stretch to new laptops and such. However, she is trying to get an old one of the Maestro's to update and will bring it over on Thursday; she was going to come and stay later in the month, so it was not a hard adjustment. Meanwhile, other than a few already scheduled posts, this blog will have to take an enforced break.. even typing this much on the YAMroid has had the airrrrr turn blue around me as the keyboard is only registering every second letter or repeating them - and apart from the one error I just left in place, it has taken 40 minutes to post what would normally take ten minutes, trying to correct it all. As Bertie and Gail are here too, there will be much to report when I get fully functional again!

Thanks for your patience.
