  3. since i have no intense feelings at all about the lighthouse, i don't get what the others are saying. that said this quote is 100 percent true. i am guilty of intense feelings about just about anything, and it has obscured the truth many times for me

  4. I like that quote - it is new to me, though not in its sentiment. Most philosophers would I think agree.
    But of course truth (when we find it) can equally give rise to intense feelings that arise from the removal of the veil of ignorance that obscures things as they really are.

  5. YAM that is a magical photo. Lighthouses and fog are two of my favorite things to see very mysterious. Who might be lurking in the fog. Probably a little kitty because they creep in like fog
