For April, I'm participating in #BlogchatterA2Z, and you will find original images created by me and some ramblings to go with them. I will capitalise words that begin with the featured letter (on first use only). Let me know what you think of the pics, words, or both in the comments! For more of this madness, you can visit Blogchatter.
"Everything that is done in this world is done by hope."
(Martin Luther 1483-1586)
Even getting up each morning is an act of HOPE - that the day will proceed as planned if plans have been made, or that it will at least be pleasurable, if not. That there will be food for breakfast. The weather will hold, the car will start ...and all wars have ceased...
Or Habit. Sometimes I have gotten up from the habit of getting up. Without a lot of hope. Even so, things for me have usually turned out well.
ReplyDeleteNever give up Hope.
ReplyDeleteHope is the thing with feathers...
ReplyDeleteTigger hopes that today's breakfast will be a double helping. The problem with apartment living is he can't stroll out and fetch his own. xxx Mr T and F
ReplyDeleteHope is the walking dream of us. Without hope, we can't even breathe. Nice artwork. - Swarnali (The Saffron Storyteller)
ReplyDeleteWithout hope life would be hard though Camus will remind us that hope was the last item in Pandora's box.
ReplyDeleteGreat quote by Martin Luther. We must all keep hope in our heart. Take care, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteHope is what keeps us going, when humans get to the point of hopelessness, that means big trouble..
ReplyDeleteYAM what beautiful words on HOPE. The art today reminds me so very much of a doily that I have. It was crocheted by Bryan's Mom, Margie.
ReplyDeleteHugs and hope to you today
Cecilia
A lovely post. Your art is wonderful to see.
ReplyDeleteHope sure channels our activities!
ReplyDeleteWe certainly hope for peace in the world.
ReplyDeleteHope is all we have. Love your image!
ReplyDeleteTrue, and it is only hope that keeps us alive!
ReplyDeleteLove that you chose hope for today. And it just so happened that I just read Rumi's words: "Never lose hope, my dear heart; miracles swell in the invisible." And so it is.
ReplyDeleteThis is the second post of "hope" I'm reading today. As always, your words land where they're meant to. Feeling good about the Sunday that will unfold its magic today--hopefully:)
ReplyDeleteYour image is stunning, amazing.. The more I looked at it, the more I discovered. As far as hope goes, I'm not a fan, at least not of how it is most commonly used. Your posts are deep and need the comments they deserve, but so little room, so little time here...
ReplyDeleteHope is a great word, Yamini. This world runs on hope.
