For April, I'm participating in #BlogchatterA2Z, and you will find original images created by me and some ramblings to go with them. I will capitalise words that begin with the featured letter (on first use only). Let me know what you think of the pics, words, or both in the comments! For more of this madness, you can visit Blogchatter.
There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men. True nobility lies in being superior to your former self.
(Ernest Hemingway)

finally a quote I can say i have done this.. I am far my SELF is far more superior than it was in the past, not superior to others but to my OLD self. I see through a different lens now than when younger. this is another art piece that would be beautiful on canvas

So much to talk about. I really need to do some introspection and find time during the week to check in on the blogs I love to keep up. I was really struck by Kali Yoga and am going to need to sit with that idea. I fear that is where we sit. It was wonderful to see dear Jade again. Such a beautiful soul she had. All the art is great and I love this quote. We are all works in progress! Happy Easter Weekend! Lee and Phod and Lady

What Next
I LOVE your A-Z! Thanks so much for your wonderful images too! I have enjoyed everyone. You really rock. Thanks for visiting. And I hope all your computer issues are absorbed into the ether and dissipate into the ether! I was blessed to see the Dawali Parade in Oliver, BC today. My son and I went to Kelowna to look at a new (to us) vehicle to replace the pick up truck and drove home down through the Okanagan. Alex wanted to visit a friend so I took Cinnamon for a walk and we got to see the local Temple's Dawali parade at the park! Not as large as the ones in Vancouver but much more personal. I loved all the local flowers too.
ReplyDeleteSending you eggseptional virtual hugs for this weekend of celebration. Barb

During my internship for PG I had a boss who would say add one virtue each day and you will have 365 more (than what you had at the beginning) by the end of the year! This was to make us focuse inward for growth rather than outward. It did help me to compete with myself and grow without stress.
ReplyDeleteNice art! Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteThis artwork reminds me of some of the paintings on the train box cars that pass near our apartment. Such creative minds. Namaste, janice xx
