Aitch and I had spotted the Apex as we drove through Greenock, so took the time to view it from the Esplanade there. To our surprise and delight later that evening, I happened to be checking my ship tracker to find out more about it and LO! discovered it was underway and passing right by the Hutch's windows!!! (The 'blurring' is the rain pelting the window and the air between me and that floating hotel...)
Wonderful colors, except that ship going down.
ReplyDeleteThe 1st and the 2nd last are my favourites!
ReplyDeleteYikes, that one boat don't look like it's owners are having a good day.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos
ReplyDeleteShips are always good, although I won't be booking a cruise on the Apex any time soon. Nor on that boat 'in trouble' just outside Holy Loch Marina!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
what happened to the boat? we bet our mama was the captain behind the wheel ;O)
ReplyDeleteWhat huge beautiful ships but I feel bad for the one that sunk.
ReplyDeletei love the closeup of the Apex and the sunken ship.. I am thinking that sunken boat has been there a while and sinking as you snap the photo.. laughing my head off at easy mama the captain of that boat. he he he
ReplyDeleteThree cheers for the excellent ships, pop of red and that most beautiful blue railing along the walk way
ReplyDeleteFloating Hotel for sure!!
Hugs Cecilia
