What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
We love the colourful bird tail of gum leaves. They never seem to do autumn colours like that at home - or here where they grow around our inlet (maybe it is variety). Is the top one a hazel or a cobnut? Fz and Pz Mr T and F
that last black and white is gorgeous! and the stump sculpture is Amazing and just plain old beautiful. it fits in the forest like it just appeared that. that artist is truly talented
Hi Yam - I thought it was a hazel ... so glad it is! I hope you get to go back when they're ripe - so delicious fresh. THe leaves, lichen, bark ... all superb pics ... and the stump picture is amazing ... cheers Hilary
Wonderful shots. I was impressed by the resemblance of your (Mac1's) fingers to the leaves.
ReplyDeleteLoved the 1st 3 pictures!

DeleteHazel - it was in the church grounds that we visited. And yes, the variety of eucalypt makes the difference in the leaf colour. Yxx

ReplyDeleteThat's an excellent 'hangover'! I especially love the close up of tree (spruce?) bark.
